Pool table. Indoor braai & fireplace. Quiet. Good for stargazing & lovely friendly pets. Toiletries. Len’s delicious baked bread.

We had a fantastic stay at Oupoort. Our hosts were incredibly warm , kind and attentive. They really made us feel at home and taught us so much about the history of area. The farmhouse is comfortable , very neat and spacious with a great fire place. It has everything you need. We made lots of unforgettable memories and friends during this stay - including the resident porcupine. Exploring the entire farm on bikes guided by Len was definitely a big highlight. The stars are amazing to look at from Oupoort - I think better than the view from Sutherland town which may have more light pollution. Thank you Len and Juanie for your incredible kindness and care. We do hope to visit again.

Wanted to get away from all the stresses of the city life, this beautiful slice of heaven was the perfect get away, almost completely off the grid so you get the chance to spend quality time with the family. Star gazing is also an incredible experience at night here. Just step outside and be blown away by the beauty of the Milky Way. The hosts went above and beyond as well. I’ve never met such a more friendly couple in my life. You can see they take pride in all aspects of what they do. They were super accommodating and I will definitely be recommending this place to all. 10/10 loved every aspect of it.

If you are looking for warm hospitality and an authentic stay in a farm house, then this is the perfect accommodation. Our boys got to experience driving a tractor, pellet gun shooting and seeing a porcupine in the evening. Memories are made from these experiences.
