A beautiful getaway hotel. Though we only had 1 night there it was very relaxing ... a place that will recharge the body. Meals were terrific. Recommend highly.

The hotel was rural and set away from any houses. The whole hotel was unique and quirky! with wooden trunks making a display in the restaurant. The architect had a vision of Celtic living … modernised! (keltich) in German I believe? There is a Celtic village next to the hotel. I am told it’s real. we never had time to view it properly. really good for the children to see. There is a swimming pool but a bit cold for that!! we went in March. lol it’s an outside pool.. It was just amazing waking up to the sounds of woodpeckers, and birds..watching them in amongst the woodland. we were standing on the bedroom balcony this morning, very early just mesmerised watching the birds. we saw great spotted wood pecker.. cold tits, chaffinch, blue tits, the sound of something calling?? and more. it was amazing and I wish we could have stayed longer. I believe this would be fabulous in the summer. I feel honoured we fell across this spectacular place. The evening meal was lovely with an open fire next to us. The breakfast was amazing.. so much choice. The owners had thought of nearly everything..sorry forgot their names! so friendly.. Their English was pretty good too. spare specs if you forget! and toiletries.. it was clean and warm in the bedroom as it was very cold outside. thank you for a nice tranquil stay…
