We had a wonderful stay in one of the river chalets. The kids loved the playground and swimming pool, and we enjoyed canoeing on the river and going for a stroll through the orchards. The location is perfect for visiting Addo National Park and for exploring the surrounding area. It is such a lovely place, would definitely recommend it and we hope to return in future.

Avoca is special and the facilities are really great. We stayed in Tree Tops and had use of the stunning pool up there. The gardens are beautiful and the views from there awesome. We battled with the ceiling fans not being very effective, so they organised a standing fan for us, which was kind. The only thing I would do differently would be to book closer to the shadier River cabins in the heat of Summer. But the view from the deck of Treet Tops cabin is stunning.

It's was peaceful and quiet just what we needed for a getaway. I will definitely be back. The pool was lovely on those very warm days and the air-conditioning in the unit was a bonus
