Hotel Overview

Located on the slopes of a volcano in the heart of Pilanesberg National Park, Kwa Maritane Lodge offers free WiFi and the reserve boasts two tennis courts and two swimming pools of which one features a water slide.

This is a good bush getaway that caters for a safari experience

Game drives were the highlight - 2 per day covered in the daily rate. Saw lions eating their kill, leopards (one in the tree climbed down and walked beside the vehicle, mother and teenage cub strolled along the road), bull elephant brushed against the safari vehicle), cheetah, many rhinos, buffaloes and other animals. Activities were planned during the Easter weekend for the children. Buffet breakfast and dinner included in the daily rate. Friendly staff.

Great location, food was excellent and well priced. Staff was lovely. Room was slightly dated but comfortable.
