Great pensiune or guest house. Is larger than it appears from outside, very big back yard and a separate dining hall where you can sit and work or eat. Real cosy family affair, preparing home cooked dinner and breakfast on demand once you sit down at the dinner table. Extremely friendly hosts. Place is right on the side of the main road but very quiet as traffic loads are not high at night and for me it made it easy to find. Parking is right next to the kitchen door in a small courtyard. Rooms were just right size, had a table to work at and traditional rugs on walls and curtains, Wi-Fi worked well, great water pressure in shower and super comfy pillows! had a good collection of guests from all over the world as well, most going to help with Ukraine. For me a great little gem and value for money and I would stay again.

I normally score 9's or 10's for exceptional stays, and doesn't matter if its a major expensive hotel or a guest house, you rate on the experience. This place exceeded my expectations for a small roadside pensiunea or guesthouse. Very cozy family feel to it as the owners and family are there to make it feel homely. Its deceptively bigger than it appears from the outside. Nice big garden out back onto the mountains. Rooms not huge but more than sufficient with a table to work at, a fridge, traditional rugs on wall and wooden furniture and a small compact bathroom that all worked fine. Place was very well insulated and warm, no problem there in the colder months. For me the big firm pillows and comfy bed were the bonus I didn't expect in a guest-house in a small community village, I had a superb sleep! Family and owner also cooked a nice homestyle dinner with some 'afinata' like a traditional alcohol liqueur made from Blueberries - strong but tasty. Also great simple breakfast of eggs, cheese, bread and hot coffee. All in all value for money and a great stay and would stay again. If you like family feel stays and mingling with other guests at a dinner table, then this is for you. Owner has also been hosting refugees from Ukraine and the volunteers coming in to assist, so bravo for that.
