Staying at Garni Hotel PBG in Subotica was, honestly, an unexpectedly delightful experience. You know that feeling when you stumble upon a place that’s way better than you imagined? That’s exactly what happened here. From the moment I walked in, the warm, old-world charm mixed with modern comfort made me feel at home. The staff? Absolute stars. I’ve rarely encountered such genuinely kind and helpful people. Whether it was recommendations for local food or just a friendly chat at the reception, they made the stay feel personal. And the breakfast—simple but satisfying. Fresh pastries, good coffee, and just enough variety to start the day right. The location is another win. Tucked away in a quiet area, it’s just a short walk to the city center. Perfect for exploring Subotica’s gorgeous architecture without being caught in the noise of the more touristy spots. The rooms were clean and cozy, nothing overly fancy but well-maintained, and honestly, I slept like a baby. That said, it’s not a luxury hotel, and if you’re expecting ultra-modern interiors or a gym and spa, this isn’t the place. But if you want a welcoming, comfortable stay with a bit of charm, this is a fantastic choice.

Everything is greate. Location is excellent because it takes just 5-10 min to get to the main citie’s square and bus station. Bus station for bus number 6 is located close to hotel. You can get by this bus to Palić lake and Zoo Vrt. Restaruants of local cuisine are also close to the hotel. The rooms are clean, the breakfest is tasty, the staff are hospitable.

Staffs are very friendly. An old man remembered hotel at the time of Yugoslavia, but very comfortable.
