Guests should be aware before booking that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings that are all served by the Ferry Inn reception, restaurant and bar. The Harbourside House and Miller's House annexes are just a few steps across the narrow street from the main Ferry Inn building.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Staff were fantastic - helpful, friendly and professional. The accommodation has been recently refurbished and was comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant were exactly what you'd expect - good selection of drinks at the bar, friendly atmosphere and good food. This was a great base for exploring the Islands.

breakfast choice was excellent, the room was a little small but more than adequate for my needs. Had dinner on two evenings, again the food was very good. I can strongly recomend this hotel, I plan to visit Orkney again and when I do I will be checking out this hotel first for availability.
