It's a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff and the rating should definitely be 3 stars not just 2! Ricardo's welcome at reception was so touching and heart-warming! He is a true gentleman making the customer feel special and well looked after. The breakfast on the balcony was super nice with a lovely view to the lake. The hotel has a private beach providing sunbeds and parasols for free directly by the lake. The only thing people need to be careful about is crossing a busy road when going to the beach, so a zebra crossing would probably be beneficial. We stayed in a lovely double room with a small balcony from which you could see both the lake and the stunning garden with a stream.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Fabulous view from our balcony of the lake and mountains. Comfortable room with very good air conditioning. The host provided outstanding service and was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing us with help in recommending good restaurants and providing lots of useful information on taxis and bus timetables. Even better for people with their own transport, as there is plenty of parking space. Wonderful private beach with lots of sunbeds, but need swimming shoes to swim in the lake. The water was very warm in July,

The hotel is directly opposite a private beach with its own umbrellas and chairs. The view from our room over the lake was stunning. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of cereals, meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries and fruit. The staff were helpful and friendly, always on hand if we needed anything. Stresa is 2 km away so the hotel is away from the busy tourist centre. Easy to get to for access to ferries. Rooms are serviced daily.
