Guest houses Overview

Just 5 minutes walk from the very heart of Stratford-upon-Avon and all of the town’s famous theatres; this lovely Victorian town house offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Virginia Lodge has a great location, just a few hundred metres away from the town centre and Stratford-upon-Avon railway station. Stratford-on-Avon Racecourse is only 10 minutes walk away, as are the town’s Royal Shakespeare Company theatres. Free off-road parking is available for guests. With just 7 rooms, this family-run bed and breakfast offers friendly, personal service. All of the rooms are en suite and each room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There are 2 four-poster rooms. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in every room. A full English breakfast is included in the price and vegetarian breakfasts are available. Virginia Lodge also has a trained chiropractor on site.

The location was perfect for what I needed as I was going to see Hamlet at the RSC. The room was great. Comfortable and very clean with tea/coffee. Breakfast was lovely - good choices. The host was very welcoming and provided some really helpful information for my stay, including places to eat. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the theatre and a 20 minute walk to Anne Hathaways Cottage through a park. It was really helpful that I could park there as well.

Fantastic location to all the bars and restaurants. Did the 3 houses what a great informative tour Loved it Had a lovely Greek meal at El Greco highly recommended. The whole experience was wonderful.
