Lovely historic and cultural town. There is everything you could want for a few days break. Good food, good pubs, great buskers and parks by the river and of course, the RSC theatre. Pen and Parchment is a good budget pub/hotel as a base.

Location was perfect. Everything is just a short walk away. The building itself is attractive. Staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful. The old pub downstairs is beautiful and cosy - loved it. Food and service were good.
