Super Gasthof, well located for the Ziller valley, overlooks the Zillertalbahn station which is 5 minutes by ZB train (every 30 minutes from 8am to 8pm) from the OBB station at Jenbach. Good views of the mountains from the windows. Room was super, I had a four person family room to myself, food in the restaurant good and portions err... generous, would recommend the deer stew which on the specials menu. Breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Staff have little English so some German is useful, I managed with my 50 year old o-level German, and are very friendly & welcoming.

The staff in the gasthof is very niece and friendly. It has its own restaurant. The portions are big and the food is super delicious. The room was spacious and clean. There was everything a guest might need. A lot of efficient storage space for clothes. The bathroom was also big and well organized. The room had a big balcony. Although the guesthouse is located right next to the local train station you can not hear the trains. Everything is very close as Strass in Zillertal.is a small village.
