I was not put off by the previous reviews because looking at photos, the main issue appeared to be a slightly aged decor. I can handle that, I thought, and I was not disappointed: the hotel is a historic building and the best word to describe the interiors is probably "quaint". The enormous staircase, the high ceilings, the 90's breathing through every detail. I have no problem with that - my room on the top floor had good windows, good heating, and even though it was facing the street, no excessive noise. Even three out of the four guys I happened to interact with at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the institutions and I don't mind the 3km walk to the central station at all (even though there are buses if one is in a hurry).

Easily accessible from bus stations, room was quiet from street. Famous bakery opposite the street.

Excellent breakfast served in the room. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhoood. And I hsd a quite a large room with a little balcony.

The hotel's location is excellent. The beautiful nearby park and the historic center are within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.
