Please note that The Thistle is an inn, not a hotel. Rooms are located above the bar, and in chalets to the back of the car park.If you expect to arrive after 22:00, please inform the property in advance using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.The Thistle Inn has a small private car park outside the rooms. This is not suitable for large high-sided vans or for trailers.
NO PETS ALLOWEDPlease inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

We used this as a place to stay overnight prior to catching the 8 a.m. ferry. The accommodation is motel style but everything needed for an overnight stay is provided. There is off-road parking directly in fron of the property which is ideal , and there is easy access to Stranraer for an evening meal
