The breakfast tasted good but what was offered was inconsistent over the three days. The location was beautiful.

The location was peaceful, and the views around were beautiful. Ideal stay after spending a day in Stourhead. The staff were lovely. The building is very old and is decorated in a tastefully old-fashioned way. We went for an evening stroll past the church and down the road to the open countryside. It's a shame that you can't get into the Stourhead grounds in the evening though.

The character of the hotel is really good, very old and authentic. Very quiet and peaceful, nice cooked breakfast and lovely staff.
