This is a modern, spacious and well-equipped chalet/lodge on the outskirts of Stornoway. It is in a secluded and quiet location with lovely views over the fields. It has very easy access to supermarkets and other facilities of the town and great bike storage.

Beautiful, well equipped and clean bas for our stay on the island. We slept amazingly well. A short walk into town for shops and places to eat.

The Gallafield looks good on the website, but is even better in reality. The living area with its high ceiling and its windows feels spacious and light. Four people would easily be comfortable; for the two of us it was perfect. The property is very clean, has lots of storage space, good sized beds, plenty of kitchen equipment and two excellent showers. The location was ideal for us - just outside the centre of Stornoway and it was easy to communicate with Rhona, our host. We stayed there for a week and were sorry to leave.

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly host. Short drive to the town and close to our friend’s house. Well equipped although no dishwasher. The weather was great during our stay. If it had been wet and windy that might have been a problem as the front door leads straight into the living area. Overall a lovely house.
