The hut was in the perfect location for driving around the island. It was also right on the edge of Lews Castle grounds so perfect for woodland walks. It was only a 15 minute walk through the castle grounds to the centre of Stornoway. Our host Joan was also so generous and provided us with bread, butter, milk, yoghurts, biscuits, bacon, tea, coffee etc. There was also no need to bring tea towels, washing up liquid etc. All was provided.

The location, totally spotless, some food supplied, even for the dog.

Very well equipped. The snacks and breakfast goodies were a lovely touch. Close to town and access roads. Even dog friendly!!! Excellent base for visiting the island.

Immaculately clean, everything u could possibly need supplied, lovely personal touch with extras supplied tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bacon, bread, biscuits the list goes on 😊 Brilliant location, would highly recommend, lots of useful info supplied inside the host really has thought of everything.
