21 Ivorhill was the perfect base for our first visit to the Outer Hebrides. It is located 5 mins drive from the centre of Stornoway and about 10 mins drive from the airport. Its a bit further to all the main tourism sites and definitely recommend having a car with you. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay - excellent beds, good shower, well equipped kitchen, washing machine etc. Central heating works well and we were super cosy. Everything was spotlessly clean and very recently renovated. Excellent value for money in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

The house was so clean and well presented when we arrived. Lovely little touches that beyond the norm. There was a bottle of prosecco and chocolate waiting for us on arrival. The towels and tea towels and toilet rolls were beautifully presented.The house was well equipped for dinners amd breakfasts ( not that we did much cooking) amd it was in a lovely quiet area of town but only a 5 min drive to the centre of town.

Everything, it was a lovely clean calm space to return to each day after exploring various beaches with the kids. It had everything we needed and more, James is a brilliant host and has thought of everything. The kids didn’t want to leave and were referring to it as home by the end of our stay! Xx

The house was very well presented, has good modern appliances, an excellent shower/room, comfy beds and a tidy minimalistic style that was very impressive. It is a semi detached house in a quiet slightly out of town street but a quick £5-£7 taxi ride gets you in easily or a brisk 30 minute walk. There were houses and gardens on all sides but we didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbours at all for three days. Great job James and Neil.
