The location was perfect for us. We like old buildings so this hotel fitted right in with us. We were treated with utter respect by the staff and would like to say a special thanks to them. We enjoyed breakfast, which was the perfect amount for us and made to order. I actually expected a lot of noise at this hotel but to be honest, it was very quiet and as we don’t worry about views too much our room at the back meant no traffic.

Good, large room with comfortable bed. Very clean & practical. Welcoming & friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Located on the High Street so excellent for the town centre.
