Warm and clean room, the hotel must’ve been one of the best at its time. But now is in the process of being refurbished after being taken over .

After reading some reviews we were a little worried especially because we were bringing our 5yr old with us. All staff went above and beyond very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a beautiful building ,the main entrance bar and restaurant spotless lovely furniture. Our room was also spotless just a little cold but there was a heater already provided Breakfast 10/10 and the gentleman thankyou so much you was so attentive inregards to allergies and making sure we had everything we needed .Hats off to the chef best breakfast we have had quality bacon,sausage all hot and presented beautifully. This hotel is rated a 3 star not a 5 star i think people forget this and expect more and the reviews are unfair .The price we paid we got more than we expected and will certainly be returning, wishing the Crown all the best for the future
