Absolutely perfect, what a find! Lovely host. Room very well appointed, comfortable bed. Great to have a small fridge. Appreciated the fan for the hot weekend. WiFi good and a huge smart TV. The pool area is incredible, so private and restful. Lots of garden furniture and sun loungers. Nice places to eat nearby, including several breakfast options. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Family run and the delightful owner and her son were absolutely lovely, so friendly and interesting. My room was pristine and very comfortable, I wanted to stay for longer, it was so calm and pleasant. A shame there is no breakfast, but Steyning has loads of places that offer it. and I was aware of the situation when I booked. I have known this hotel for 50 years and stayed there often over the years - it has been upgraded relatively recently in a sympathetic way.

Steyning is a wonderful town, lots of independent shops, places to eat and walks with great views. Springwells is quirky and comfortable with lots of excellent details, like china cups, fridge in room, milk provided. Beautiful gardens with swimming pool. Breakfast not provided but plenty of places to eat nearby.
