Achint “Perfect Honeymoon Stay — Peaceful Luxury in the Vineyards”

We stayed three nights in a Luxury Lodge and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The lodges are set deep inside the vineyard, so from the moment you arrive it truly feels like living in the middle of a wine estate. Driving through the property you pass rows of vineyards, the cellar and a small pond before reaching the beautiful pool area overlooking the valley, which quickly became our favourite place to relax during sunset. The lodge itself was exceptional. The bed was extremely comfortable and unusually large — as someone who is 6'1", I often find hotel beds a bit short, but this was the first time I genuinely missed a bed after leaving. The bathroom is spacious and modern with a large bathtub perfect for relaxing. Everything you might need during your stay is thoughtfully provided, and the lodge was spotlessly clean, with housekeeping refreshing the room while we were at breakfast. Even though we don’t drink alcohol and skipped the wine tasting, the estate was still a wonderful experience. The lodges are well spaced and very private, which made it perfect for our honeymoon. The pool and sun loungers are great for enjoying the vineyard views, and the quiet surroundings make for beautiful starry nights with almost no light pollution. A very special mention goes to Jacqueline, whose warmth and genuine hospitality made the stay feel incredibly personal. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Since we don’t eat meat, fish or eggs, she thoughtfully arranged vegetarian options for breakfast and even found eggless croissants and special pastries for us — such a kind gesture that we truly appreciated. This stay was particularly special for us because it was our honeymoon, and I had spent nearly a month carefully choosing the right places as a surprise for my wife. Aaldering not only met those expectations but completely exceeded them, and it turned out to be the perfect ending to our trip.

Beautiful spacious accommodation, excellent à la carte breakfast, friendly helpful staff and owner. Pool temperature perfect for morning swims and great to experience a working small vineyard. The three bottles of complimentary wine only added to the enjoyment.

A truly outstanding stay in Stellenbosch. Beautifully located right on a vineyard, this apartment-style guest house combines the comfort and privacy of an apartment with the quality and service of a boutique hotel. The views, tranquility, and attention to detail are exceptional, and everything is immaculate and thoughtfully designed. Perfectly located for exploring nearby wine estates while still feeling wonderfully secluded. Highly recommended for a refined and memorable vineyard stay.
