This is an excellent hotel. Safe, friendly, good facilities, and in a great area. The reception staff are exceptionally helpful and make you feel very welcome. My room on the 6th floor was quiet with stunning views of Manhattan, including at sunset. Reliable Wi-Fi, good shower, comfortable bed. Iron and ironing board provided on request. The room was equipped with a fridge (quiet), microwave, kettle, and mugs, so self-catering from the nearby grocery shops was a good option. I also highly recommend the shrimp tajine at Sabry's Seafood restaurant and the Middle Eastern patisserie at Al-Sham, both delicious and opposite the hotel. Very convenient travel to and from Manhattan. Two minutes walk to catch the frequent bus M60-SBS to West Side or ten minutes walk to Astoria Boulevard station for the subway to Midtown. I would very happily stay at this hotel again: an excellent find.

good for the price, you have everything what you need. can recommend for short stay location is very good, only 30 minutes to Broadway by metro. we go free upgrade for one more person in room for 4. it was very sweet and g helpful.
