The apartment was big and in a good location. Was suitably hosting my family of 5.

Very good location for the city of Freiburg, but we went by car to next tram terminus to go there. Host gave us the local area's guest card, so free travel in public transport, e.g. as far as Basel. Also many valleys and Ravenna gorge and the 2 big lakes are easy to reach by car. Nice wine in cellar ;-)
