The location was lovely, very quiet, private, and peaceful. I am a light sleeper and I had no issues sleeping here. There was lots of space in the cottage and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals during my stay.

This place is for people who don't like to see other people :-). The chalet is located at the end of the road in Stechelberg, so you don't have much traffic. The hotel restaurant is about 50m from the chalet. The chalet itself has a terrace with unbeatable panoramic view of the mountains including Breithorn. This is an ideal place for relaxation or hiking or both. Highly recommended!
