We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at Schloss Weitenburg. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and the views of the surrounding Neckar valley were beautiful. There were bountiful choices of breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, jams and other delights available from the breakfast buffet. The meal we experienced in the restaurant was delicious. The room was quite large and the establishment was pet friendly so we were able to enjoy the weeken with our small dog, who enjoyed walking through the the castle park. There was ample free parking available. Several nice towns/villages are a short drive away.

Fantastic location and place! Very old castle nicely decorated - like you live in museum. Breathtaking view from the room I stayed. The same time, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Nice park around. Charming old restaurant, tasty food, great service. Must visit for romantic trip.
