Hotel Overview

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool with hot mineral water, Hotel Starosel is located on the outskirts of the village of Starosel and is decorated in traditional Bulgarian style with natural materials like wood, stone and wool. It has a piano bar with karaoke and its own winery.
Specialities from the Bulgarian cuisine are served in the restaurant of Starosel Hotel, which also has a summer terrace. A rich wine list is offered, and wine tasting as well as wine tours in the area can be organised.
Situated in the annex building, the spa centre invites you to relax in the hot tub, sauna, steam bath or treat yourself to the massage or the special beauty procedure, including wine therapy treatments.
A mini golf and a small zoo with domestic animals are also offered on site. Hunting, horse riding and off-road trips in the surroundings are arranged at a surcharge.
All of the accommodation combines traditional décor with modern facilities like flat-screen TV, a mini bar and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries, and a shower or a bathtub.
Free Wi-Fi access is available in the communal areas and free private parking is possible on the premises. The resort of Hisarya is a 20-minute drive from the premises.

Excellent place for a relaxing holiday. Beautifully decorated and clean rooms. Food is plenty and tasty. Very friendly and cheerful staff. My husband locked himself in the bathroom by accident and they attended immediately besides it was Sunday. There are two SPA centres with various facilities. Personally, I recommend the Spa Cedar Bio Barrels. The outdoor pools are surrounded by vines, a good shade to hide from the scorching sun during summers.

Lovely relaxing experience in a very peaceful setting. The spas were all clean and well attended. Our room in the main hotel was clean and really spacious and we loved all the peacocks mooching around the grounds. The wine tour was really good value for money and the expert was fantastic, as was the wine!
