Good location, comfortable stay. The Stanley Seaview Inn has a a lovely lounge bar area to look across to Stanley but due to the design, after bar closing, it becomes a wasted resource. The staff were helpful and friendly and provided red light torches for penguin viewing at Stanley. A superb experience. Penguin viewing at the the penguin viewing area at Godfrey's Beach in Stanley, Tasmania, was constructed by the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service. A fantastic outcome. The viewing area itself has red lights (the very red photo was taken on an older iPhone 10 and the same, less red photo provided is modified by photo software to see the penguin more clearly. People can experience the little penguins, it is still good to bring a red light torch, it was a pleasure to see all people being quiet and respecting the penguins from the viewing boardwalk provided. Well done the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.

A lovely lounge under utilised as it is locked off from 6pm and is the only area to spend time with travelling friends. Lock the bar area if staffing issues necessitate but leave lounge area available. If staffing is available it is a great opportunity to have bar open.

The facilities are good, clean and spacious. The view into Stanley is exceptional. The staff very friendly and check in/ out is made easy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very clean. The only downfall and this has no reflection on the property is the lack of respect from other guests. If you wish to slam doors, talk loud constantly, then I suggest you stay home, some people want to enjoy peace and quiet.

Room was spacious and clean. Location was great, easy walk into town and the view from the bar out over the town and The Nut was excellent. Also Alana was lovely to deal with.
