Poet’s is perfectly located, filled with history, delightfully looked after and managed by beautiful people. Geraldine and David are genuine, lovely people who care deeply about their cottage, Stanley and their guests.

Loved everything! Geraldine and David were warm and gracious. As we had the whole cottage to ourselves they gave us the seaside bedroom which was beautiful. It had an electric fireplace in the room which was warming as it was cold outside. Breakfast was yum and conversation was pleasant and engaging. Our hosts couldnt do enough to make our stay more comfortable. Restaurants, shops and the Nut were close by. Parking very secure

We loved absolutely everything about this property. Our hosts Geraldine and Dave were fabulous. Nothing was a problem. A beautiful cooked breakfast, served in the fabulous kitchen space. Warm and cosy, an easy walk to town and the Nut! They gave us lots of suggestions as to local history and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

The location is outstanding, right next to the seafood restaurant and great views of the docks and countryside over the little harbour. Very beautiful interior with amazing period furniture, great pieces of work through the house. The kitchen was huge and the food available for breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were most wonderful by offering to cook breakfast everyday which was lovely. The place is clean, upmarket and very comfortable to stay in. The bedrooms were like being transported back in time! It is a WONDERFUL property close to everything and very comfortable indeed! Great value for money. Exceeded expectations!
