The Moat House's award-winning Conservatory restaurant is also open for non-residents, therefore advance reservations are essential for Friday and Saturday nights.A discounted menu is available Monday - Friday for residents of The Moat House.An 'Early Doors' menu is served Sunday - Friday from 18:30 - 19:45.Please note the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. Bar food is available.

Breakfast. I found I was able to have a lovely healthy breakfast, along with plenty of delicious coffee. The staff were so helpful and friendly. And, of course, we had a lovely view into the gounds of the hotel.

I arrived just past 8pm and the restaurant was closed so I had to go into Stafford for dinner so can't rate dinner. But breakfast was good and the service was excellent.

I would describe this as a proper British hotel, not the mass market Premier Inn/Travelodge type of place. The setting was lovely, grounds well kept, the hotel décor was be-spoke and just right for the feel of the place. The staff were super helpful and the food for evening meal and breakfast was top draw. We booked a family room which was spacious, the bathroom was equally spacious with a separate bath and shower. The facilities in the room were good and all worked. The room didn't feel tired as some hotel rooms can due to the turnover of guests.
