The staff were exceptional . They were attentive and polite at all times. The food at the hotel was delicious with plenty of different options

Lovely hotel, beautiful garden, fabulous breakfasts, kind and thoughtful staff. Very spacious single room with cupboard, wardrobe & 7 drawers! 3,000 steps from the ferry terminal or about 18 minute walk. Up a hill but not as bad as I expected from the other descriptions. Bus tickets are £1.60 all over the island and you can hop on and off, just tap your debit card. There’s a co-op too just down the hill, handy for lunches and the bus terminal is a handy place to start for trips ( unless of course you’re driving!) out. Jersey is about £29 return for the day on the ferry and takes an hour. You can book online. Great stay!

Staff are very good, the garden & public rooms are very comfortable & it’s right beside Victoria Hugo’s house. There’s a bit of a climb up from port area but good for exercise!

Breakfast was excellent, as were other meals we had at the hotel. The staff were always polite and responsive to requests. The location of the Hotel is close to the centre of St Peter Port, ( but unfortunately if you struggle walking it is up quite an incline ), but the view from the well kept gardens is very nice. The Hotel is very well situated for the Bus terminus, and this makes for great access to all the visitor locations around the island, and the fares are very reasonable too.
