Everything...lodge, location, room, host, breakfast. I doubt it can be bettered in St Lucia.

This was the most amazing stay we had on the 28 days we were in South Africa. Colin is a fantastically hospitable host. Nothing was too much for him. Moreover, it is very nice that we could talk to him in Dutch and he in Afrikaans. The kids loved him too! Together they watched the “geitjie” (gecko) on the walls. If we come back to South Africa we will stay at the Wetlands Guest House again no matter what.

The room was perfect. The service and assistance were spectacular. Best place I have been so far in South Africa and I would propose Colin has the host of the year!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Enjoyed the pool and the safari to Hluhluwe (pick-up from the guesthouse). Host Colin and his wife were warm and very hospitable. Breakfast was amazing. Even when we needed to leave at 5.00 AM for the safari, Colin arranged coffee and take-away breakfast for us. Highly recommended!
