Everything! It was a fantastic apartment with every facility you could want. Large rooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating in the living room. There was even a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The balcony was a real bonus to enjoy the sun. The complex that the apartment was located in, was very pretty and lovely and quiet. The busy Spinola Bay was just a short walk down the hill and an absolutely huge supermarket could be accessed via lifts from across the road from the apartment. Both the owner, Steve, and his colleague Matthew, were great and very helpful. Highly recommended 👌
Dirk “Apartment with garage in the center of St. Julian's to explore the island of Malta!”

Based on location, availability of an included garage and the good reviews, we booked the apartment in the Marble Arch complex. Owner Steve sent us a lot of information in advance and also offered free airport pickup. We had a rental car so we came to the accommodation ourselves. Matthew was waiting for us with the keys and led us around. The apartment on the third floor is very spacious and quiet despite its proximity to downtown Saint Julian's. Because of the many narrow streets and the not always availability of parking space in the street, we highly appreciated the garage. It is located in the same building at minus three and is directly accessible by elevator. Directly nearby there is a large supermarket (accessible by elevator opposite the apartment building) and a little further away there is also plenty of choice of restaurants. Getting to the center of Valletta is easy by bus (single trip 2,5€/person). To the three sisters you can easily go by car yourself (but of course we were not there in season). From the apartment you can explore the whole island very easily. We only booked one night at Gozo for visiting the island. In total we drove 380 km on the whole week and saw almost every corner. For tips we could always reach Steve. He knows how to spoil his guests and is an excellent host. We can highly recommend this accommodation!

Marble Arch is located in a quiet residential area near to Spinola Bay on the outskirts of St.Juliens. The property is well stocked with kitchen utensils enough for anyone to cook if the wishes to, plus cleaning equipment if needed. The property was clean and well kept. It is within a short walking distance to both a well stocked supermarket ( which can be difficult to find on the first time; once you have exited the lifts from Lapsi Street to the lower level, exit the lifts walk through a series of 2 steel fire doors, past another set of lifts and through another steel door and into the underground parking area. Head for the exit of the car park and turn left at street level toward the supermarket ‘Welbee’s), and several bus stops that serves the area and north of Malta. There area as many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, but far enough away to have a quiet nights sleep. The traffic in Malta is horrendous during ‘rush hours’ and parking in some towns would difficult, and traffic wardens very prominent in busy towns. I would suggest getting a 6 day bus ticket for €21 and this allows you travel on all the buses on Malta and Gozo ( available at the airport in arrivals pick up area), and are usually on time and run very regularly, and app for the bus pass can be downloaded and routes from each bus stop can be obtained. This ticket can also be boosted for an extra €8 which allows you a return ticket on the hydrofoil ( Gozohighspeed.com) to Gozo from Valletta. The hop on hop of sightseeing bus was from €25 each in Gozo; whereas we got a taxi for 4 people at €20 each for about 5 hours ( we were not given a time limit and had time for lunch at a restaurant ) and we saw more of Gozo that could not be reached by a large bus.
