The location was great for Downtown St John's, just 1.5km on foot. It is also on a direct bus route. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable and has a fridge in the room. The shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was limited but tasty.

This is a beautiful old manor house (from the 1920's), and it's very well maintained. Our suite had a separate private entrance directly off the back parking lot, which was very convenient. We were able to avoid lugging our luggage up the stairs to the upper levels. It was very spacious and private. Breakfast was delicious. First morning had choice of eggs, second morning pancakes. Some guests preferred eggs to pancakes, and staff was happy to substitute.
