Linda and John are absolute awesome hosts! Never been to any place were I felt so welcome. If any questions about leisure activities, how to get there the quickest or whats the best dish in the restaurants in the area of St. Ives - they gonna help you. Carbis Bay is a more quiet distirct of St. Ives (in summer time it gets REALLY crowded there) but it only takes you about 20 mins foot walk to the center. To the train station about 9 min and 10 min to the stunning (!!!), moderate frequented beach - there is also a big Tesco around the corner. The bus station is right next to the house. The rooms are lovely, warm decorated and got everything you need. Must be highlighted that the rooms are extraordinary clean! But it's not accessible for disabled persons, as all rooms are upstairs (without lift). Furthermore the breakfast is absolutely delicious. You can choose between several options and there is also the option for glutenfree, vegan, vegeterian and other diets. If you wanna feel like home and get to know Cornwall: stay here!

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Thurlestone House thanks to the outstanding hospitality of John and Linda. They take such pride in making sure every guest feels welcome and comfortable. Our room was spotless and cosy, breakfast was exceptional, and their helpfulness made exploring the area so much easier. Highly recommended!"
