I’m Samantha from Mumbai, and I recently stayed at Shamus Javeed Homestay in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. I had a wonderful experience there. The homestay is in the best location near Dal Lake, which made everything very convenient and beautiful. Every morning the view and fresh air felt amazing. Staying so close to the lake made my trip extra special. One of the highlights of my stay was riding a shikara on Dal Lake. The homestay arranged it for me and even gave me a special discount on the ride, which I really appreciated. It was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The owner, Mr. Maqbool, who is 63 years old, is a very kind and humble person. He personally helped me plan my tour around Srinagar and guided me about the best places to visit. What I loved the most was listening to his stories about old Kashmir. He shared beautiful stories about the history and culture of the place, and I truly enjoyed listening to him. The hospitality at Shamus Javeed Homestay is excellent. They make you feel at home and treat you like family. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Srinagar who wants a comfortable stay, great location near Dal Lake, and warm Kashmiri hospitality. Thank you, Mr. Maqbool, for such a lovely experience. I will definitely visit again!
