The Oxford. This is our largest suite with a custom super king four post hand-carved bed. There is a desk for your convenience and comfortable chairs for simply relaxing. You have french door access to the back verandah and garden also to the spa pool close by. A large walk in closet will give way to a smart modern bathroom with plenty of large towels arranged on a towel warmer. You are totally self-contained. If you have an additional guest please note they will be sleeping on a single bed in this room,

Queen Suite - enter dates to see room photos

This cozy queen suite enjoys early morning sun and a view of the kitchen garden. Large closet space and adjoined by a modern bathroom with multi function shower. Heated towel racks, lots of fluffy towels, large hand basin and personal items provided. The bathroom is on a share basis if the Canterbury room is part of your party booked, otherwise it is totally your own with bedroom access for total privacy.

Deluxe Double Studio - enter dates to see room photos

Canterbury is where we are and the view from your window looks out to the southern alps. Two large king single beds or they can become a super king if required dressed totally for your comfort. Room to sit and chat or enjoy a coffee and the bathroom is shared with the Selwyn Suite.

This is a fabulous property, very comfortable, and beautifully furnished, reflecting the hosts tastes and previous travels. It is spacious, comfortable, immaculate, and for what we were looking for perfectly positioned to explore Christchurch, Banks Peninsula, and inner Canterbury. There is private, secure parking, bikes to use, comfortable seating areas, a hot tub, and a lovely choice of breakfasts. Barbara, the host, couldn't have been more attentive or helpful.

Everything was just amazing! Barbara made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. We had a dressing room attached to the shower room. Hairdryer, iron, extra towels, duvet and pillows, all to make our stay as good as could be. We would certainly book again.

Delicious breakfast and wonderful host. We were very well looked after! We also enjoyed the peaceful setting and the spa pool.
