I stayed in the hostel for two nights and the staff was very nice! Definitely a good atmosphere where everyone is welcome. I shared my dorm with Nicola, one of the staff members, and he was such a nice person to be around with :)

Great value for price. Clean beds, rooms and bathrooms are well taken care of - can comfortably take a hot shower. Kitchen available to prepare own meals & coffee. Secure lockers in rooms (you get a private key for them) The team of the hostel was the highlight of they stay. They provide tips for bars/restaurants in Split, recommend day tours and organise social events in the evenings with people from other hostels - Beers & Sunset was amazing. Thank you Eric, Reneé and Nico. I have even extended my stay to enjoy Split and the Hostel for a bit longer

Staff is very nice. Location is great, view is nice, lot of light. Lot of pots and stuff to cook in the kitchen. Windows in the room, and the bathroom might get some reparation...

Old Town hostel is amazing! It was better than I expected, very good location, amazing stuff, and very clean. Cat Bepo made this hostel the best :)

I chose this hostel due to it proximity to everyhing, I later learned that it is even within the confines of the old Diocletian's palace. Just 5-10 from with the main train station and long distance bus station including airport shuttle bus. Local bus station wasn't far either (10-15 min walk), if you want to visit the Salona ruins in the neighboring town of Solin, with bus route 37 leaving every 20 minute. Very friendly and helpful staff and a well-equipped kitchen to cook your own food if you don't want to eat out. They also had a Whiteboard with current events, list of suggested restaurants/bars which were good, which makes it easy to choose the better options amongst a sea if choices. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and though within the Old City, at least of time of visiting not too noisy.
