What a pleasure to stay here. We really didn't want to leave. The hosts of Grgur Ninski Rooms, Mladin and Milka, are truly lovely people who could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. The location of the building is just inside the Golden Gate to the old town, near the famous statue of Gregory of Nin, so it couldn't be more perfect - just a quick 10 minutes walk to the Promenade. We arrived by car, and Mladen was waiting on the street outside the city walls to help with our bags and park our car. We enjoyed our beautifully decorated and furnished room with crisp linens and the softest towels. So clean and comfortable. We even had a balcony - the only one in the street. Free delicious breakfast at the LVXOR Restaurant opposite St Domnius Cathedral, inside the Diocletian Palace. What a lovely relaxing base to enjoy exploring the old town of Split. We highly recommend staying here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was extremely well equipped and set up. The location was a nice surprise for us, as it is in the heart of the major tourist attraction and within easy walking distance to everything. Despite the location, it was very quiet at night. Our host was very friendly and helpful and gave us good information on where to eat etc.

Fabulous room in a fabulous spot. The owners could not have been more helpful, picking us up and dropping us off at the airport (euro35 each way), providing great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Small touches like proving beach towels and complementary welcome drinks all really contributed to a very special few days. Our room was on floor two and had a really cute balcony (view in photo).

The location is excellent, right within the palace walls near the Golden Gate, so all the main attractions were less than 5 mins walk. We could easily head back to room for a break anytime. The room is clean and beautiful, looked really new and well maintained, and we had a very comfortable stay. We love the scent they used in the common areas too! The best part of this accommodation has to be the hosts. Owner and his wife provided much help to us and gave clear information. Before arrival, he contacted us to let us know where he would meet us to help with our luggage as the palace area was pedestrian only. If you are driving he would also help you with finding parking. He met us at the roadside and helped with our super heavy luggage all the way to the room. He also gave recommendations of the food and places nearby. On the day of check out, he even went out of his way to help us get all the way onto the ferry as we had a lot of luggage and traveling with a young child. Definitely recommend this wonderful accommodation to anyone visiting Split.
