Having been to Split several times before, we really enjoyed being just a short distance outside the perimeter of the palace and away from the crowds but still close supermarkets and easy walking distance to everything. The air conditioning was a godsend because it was 35-39C the whole time we were there. The whole flat is well laid out and well equipped. Jelena and her mother Branka were incredibly helpful and kind, and made sure we were settled in on arrival. It was also so useful to have the washing machine!

Jelene was an excellent host, she got in touch several times to make sure we were OK. Our flight was delayed when we got there, and we hit a lot of traffic on the way. Jelene waited for us for several hours to give us the keys herself. The apartment was very spacious, and amazing! Everything was completely new, and it looked like it was decorated by an interior designer. It even had "happy" messages on all of the artwork on the walls. Really nice to wake up to and to be around. It had everything we needed and more. We were able to wash our clothes, etc. Two beautiful bathrooms. Tons of cable channels and no problems getting the TV to work. One thing we noticed was that we couldn't hear ANY noise from the outside. A bunch of young guys were renting the apartment next door. We could hear their noise when we were outside the apartment, but not a peep when we were inside. Completely insulated from the outside noise, which is rare when you're staying in the middle of a city like that. It was just so comfortable to stay there. The location was fantastic, a stones throw away from everything we wanted to visit in Split. Food stores also right nearby. I only have one complaint - I wish we didn't have to leave!!!

clean, central (walk everywhere) and simple/stylish inside with everything needed for a comfortable stay. parking was OK (just required a little patience) thanks!
