Really enjoyed our stay at the Costas Inn. Eleftheria looked after us very well and gave us loads of excellent advice and restaurant tips. The Inn is very well located and also excellent value. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. We selected a room at the front as it had a lovely balcony overlooked the village. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Costas Inn.

2 nights in Spili was one of the highlights of our trip to Crete in early October. It's a beautiful, calm place. We wished we could have stayed for longer to just relax. The hotel is in a great spot in the middle of town, just across the road from a free car park. The rooms are large and comfortable. The lady who runs it, Eleftheria, I cannot compliment her enough. Firstly, she messaged us a couple of days before to ask if we'd prefer a room facing the street at the front or mountain at the back. Then, on our way to the hotel, we got a flat tyre on the mountain roads. When we arrived and told her we were late as we had a flat tyre, she told us she would find the nearest place which could change a tyre while we went out for dinner. She found a garage just beyond Agkouseliana, called them to see when they would be open & told them we would be coming, sent me a link on WhatsApp to their location on google maps and what time they opened the next morning so we could be the first customers of the day. When we got back from dinner, she also gave us a map where she'd noted recommendations for the local area. The cafe does really nice sheep's milk ice cream, we didn't get a chance to try it until we were checking out, so we ordered some as we handed back our keys. They gave it to us (very unexpectedly!) for free as a departure gift, just to really cement their status as beacons of Greek hospitality! We didn't have breakfast, if you are wanting it then I would message them a few days before to book, especially if you are visiting in shoulder season when it is quieter.

We stayed in July and our stay at Costas Inn has turned into a happy core memory for life. We absolutely loved it. The owner was very kind and helpful, one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. We will definitely come back as it felt super good and almost like a second home to us.

I had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view from the balcony, the host were friendly, and the location was great. At the end of our stay, the host gave us some delicious gâteau for the road — such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend!
