The fine print
Please note that the stairs to the rooms are quite steep. The single room has the boiler in it which does create a small amount of noise so guests that are light sleepers may wish to book a larger room for their stay.Please note the property does not serve breakfast. A packed breakfast can be arranged upon request at a cost of GBP 5 per person per night.

We had an evening meal and a breakfast during our stay and the food was plentiful and very enjoyable. The four staff members that we had dealings during our stay were all very friendly and helpful. nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The bedroom was very clean but there was a distinct smell of sweaty feet on entering which we rectified by purchasing some air freshener. The beds were comfortable and the bedding spotless. Tea, coffee and milk were provided, and we were told to just ask if we wanted further supplies. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower very powerful and hot.

The room was modern, comfortable and clean with an excellent shower and good soundproofing. The pub was nicely busy for a Monday and the food was very good. There is good riverside seating for sunny days. The staff were efficient(evening) and efficient and friendly (morning). The room was only £5 more expensive than our previous stay but was in a different league. You are 5 minutes away from a really nice riverside walk at the edge of Skipton Golf Club, too.
