Parents with children under 4 years old please be aware that the cottage has original Victorian steep stairs. Please bring your own baby equipment. Early check in or late check out available by request (additional fee applicable). The house cannot accommodate more than 4 guests. If this house rule is transgressed the reservation will be cancelled and the total price of the reservation will not be refunded. Please note storage for bicycles is not provided, as the courtyard is shared with a neighbouring property. Guests will need to arrange their own storage.In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay.

Compact and well equipped . Reasonable location. Free parking available a short walk away. Quiet at night. Convenient for walking to main part of Southwold.

The property was absolutely wonderful, very clean and well appointed with a lovely seaside themed decor. The owners were amazing and extremely kind, giving clear, helpful instructions for entering and exiting the property and being on call to answer queries quickly, as well as generously providing complimentary treats to welcome guests. We had an amazing time staying in Thimble Cottage and look forward to a return visit!

Lovely little property very close to the village centre. Good communication provided and easily able to gain entrance to the property. Everything was clean and tidy.
