The apartment was perfect for our needs, close to the beach one way and shops/bars/restaurants the other way. The host left us bread, butter, oil, washing up liquid, and snacks which was a lovely surprise.

The option of the oversized overhead shower rose was a treat. Comfortable bed. Convenient facilities so we've unpacked mostly clean clothes on our return home. Was still comfortable in the hot weather. It is an ideal location for a relatively quiet stretch of beach and the high st, in or out of season.. The beach and eateries were much nicer than Bournemouth itself, which we walked to. There are many bars, some with live events, and plenty of eateries to explore, but we mostly self catered. Haven't explored the public transport links yet for other attractions and bigger stores. Maybe on our next stay.
