The Ligjthouse is a perfect place to stay. Well equipped with some lovely touches such as bread and milk etc left if required. Beautifully decorated. Close to The Common for walks.

“A perfect stay – warm, welcoming, and wonderfully thoughtful”

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage in Southampton. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, homey, and full of care. The place is spotless, nicely decorated, and the linens were impeccable — so fresh and comfortable. It’s fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and I have to say, I especially loved the bathtub — such a relaxing touch after long days. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, leaving thoughtful essentials like water, milk, beer, cereals, bread, butter, and jam — such a kind surprise that made us smile. They also kindly allowed us a late check-out, which was a huge help for us as we were in Southampton for medical reasons. That extra flexibility meant the world. It was the perfect place to stay, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely return the next time we visit Southampton. A big thank you for our lovely stay! Highly recommended!

“Perfect place to stay in Southampton”

I must say I fell in love with this accommodation! It is a 10-minute walk from the University of Southampton and 7-10 minutes from grocery stores and cafes and bars, but pretty far away from the city center and the central railway station. The accommodation itself is very clean, quiet, stylish, and fully equipped. You can find there everything that can be needed for staying: diverse crockery, washing gel, bath accessories, a heater, a fan, books, and some food (milk, butter, bread, jam, etc.). The hosts, Ian and Amanda, are wonderful and very kind people. I would rate this place as 11/10.
