Welbelove “Beautiful palladian manor House.”

Old palladian edwardian manor house. Set in beautiful grounds to walk in. Very interesting and historic. Excellent spa and pool a short walk from Hotel. Lovely comfy room. Bar was excellent. Had a delicious freshly made sandwich. With chips and side salad. Staff were proffesional and friendly. Room was lovely. Will return and recommend for a couples break. However the Hotel is child friendly for families. Beautiful location for a wedding or special event. Finally buffet breakfast was plentiful .cooked fresh and delicious.

Room was on the ground floor although that would not have been a problem on the upper floors as a lift was available. We did not have breakfast. The main evening meal had a limited menu with bland tasting food. The tender stem broccoli was under cooked both nights. The pubic areas were nice and clean and the staff helpful and pleasant. The Hotel now is basically a corporate and marketing venue. Our room was sunny and looked over the garden however we had to change the kettle that had an electrical fault, replaced very quickly. other items that need attention was the wardrobe door hinges and the sink plug needed a new o ring seal to stop the water running away when trying to fill.

Location and room we're Excellent. Range of drinks we're good and garden was beautiful.
