We had a wonderful two-night stay at this beautiful little house – it truly felt like a home from home. Everything was so well thought out, with lovely little touches that made our visit extra special. You can really tell how much care has gone into creating such a welcoming space. One of our favourite parts was looking through the “Transformation of the Bolthole” album – such an inspiring story, and it made us appreciate the place even more. A perfect spot to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

The cleanliness and quality of furnishings was fantastic. Having lovely fluffy towels exactly the same as my home ones was a nice surprise! The bed was very comfortable and again the quality of the bedding was lovely. There was a jar of home made cookies upon arrival for us, they were delicious. Tea, coffee and milk were also supplied. The simple things like supplying washing up liquid, dishcloths, bin bags etc was appreciated too. The loft bedroom could be a problem if you are tall but neither of us are so this was not a problem for us. There were handy local information leaflets, we decided to visit Fort Nelson and it was an excellent day out! The instructions in the folder for everything in the Bolthole were very concise too, nothing was missed. Truly wonderful gem of a place.
