“An old fashioned palace in the Medina”

What a fabulous place! The hotel is in a wonderful historic building, whose rooms overlook a courtyard with arches and columns with real Corinthian, Roman, original hat.... for me, enjoying this privilege was priceless!! In addition to the beautiful common areas, the large rooms are tastefully furnished and the beds are in Tunisian style, fabulous... our bathroom was also stunning, with a Singer sewing machine supporting the sink and marble and ancient Arabic tiles as decoration. Really very beautiful! Very kind staff, excellent breakfast. Not to be missed!

This place is truly stunning. The location is in a quiet part of the medina and has incredible views from the terrace. The room was the prettiest we’ve ever stayed in and exactly what we wanted from a traditional Tunisian guesthouse. We were lucky enough to see inside all rooms and each one is beautifully different. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We chatted for ages and they gave us great tips for visiting Sousse. The included traditional breakfast was very well presented and so tasty. There’s so much food! A great way to experience different bits of Tunisian food. We booked our stay very last minute and the hosts were very accommodating. So happy that we booked to stay here and can’t recommend it enough.

The property is in a brilliant location in the heart of the medina of Sousse. It truly feels like home here, in an absolutely beautiful setting. Here you will get to experience how Tunisians actually live. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

The kindness and familiarity we felt at this wonderful family-run home away from home only much fancier... 😍 Madame Badiaa treated us like we her kids. The breakfast spread was rich and traditional. Omar brought us lemonade Madame Badiaa had made when we arrived. Then on our second night Omar brought us a traditional sweet they make here, "The Judge's ear" 🤣. The place is calm even though it is smack in the middle of the old town. Comfortable bed. Big room. Clean as a wistle. Just splendid...

The place is beautiful. From when we arrived, my partner and I fell in love with the charm and beauty of the location, the rooms, and outside areas. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff were very friendly

Wonderful stay! A must for an authentic Tunisian experience in a family-run guest house. Omar and his family were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious.
