Beautiful, well- designed space - great kitchen with a very good oven and dishwasher, 2 bathrooms - one en suite. The bedrooms were very comfortable - we were a family with 3 grown up children plus one partner- it worked very well. There is air - con in the living room, so at night we put it on and left bedroom doors ajar - they were cooled by doing this. We were there in August - hot. The outdoor space is fantastic - a lovely little pool to cool down in, sun loungers and 2 outdoor eating areas plus a great barbecue with chimney, which we used most nights. We shopped in Mercadona in Salamanca and Bejar, although Sotoserrano’s supermarket stocks a lot of things. We enjoyed the bar in the Plaza Mayor too. Salamanca is a beautiful city to visit, the Sierra de Francia National Park area is glorious . We swam in the Rio Francia, at Mestas in the Piscina Natural, in the RioMalo de Abajo, just below beautiful Miranda del Catastana, the Rio Batuecas - all lovely. Blue skies everyday in August - hot, but a dry heat, never humid - wonderful.
