Sophie “Beautiful family stay in peaceful countryside gite”

We stayed over both properties with a multi-generational family trip in June 2023. We chose the location based on a wedding we were attending in the next village, however extended our trip to explore the local area, which is beautiful. Kate was a fantastic host and communicated excellently and responded to queries really quickly both in the run up to the holiday, and during the stay. She was really welcoming, met us at the property and showed us around, and made it clear she was available at all times for any issues (she lives locally in the village). We took our 2 year old son, and not only were a cot and two highchairs provided, Kate had also thought of extra details and amenities to make our stay with him more comfortable. There were lots of little (environmentally-friendly) extra touches like shampoo and soap dispensers in the bathrooms and hand wash and washing up liquid at the sinks. The communal spaces were perfect for our families. We enjoyed long evening dinners on the outside terrace and made use of the BBQs! There was also the opportunity for seperate areas for relaxing with a number of garden/inside areas.
