Beautifully clean with lovely owners who meet and greet you. The best bit is the location is just perfect - right in the centre of Sorrento but you wouldn’t know it as it’s so quiet

Casa Scio is lovely. The hosts, Claudio and Maria Teresa, go above and beyond to welcome their guests. Little touches like fruit juice, water, snacks, etc., on arrival are very helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean, from the towels and bed linen, to the bathroom and floors - it is easy to tell that a lot of care and attention has been given to ensuring the property is perfect for when guests arrive. Communication with Claudio in the lead-up to our arrival day was excellent, and it is lovely that they meet you at the property and run through a few things (how to use the air con, wi-fi, keys & downstairs door code). The apartment is on the first floor and is inward facing, and has a small balcony overlooking a courtyard at the back. It is very quiet at night which is perfect. The location is fantastic, it is situated on a charming street through the old town part of Sorrento (just a tip for future guests: Corso Italia is pedestrian-access only, so if you arrive or depart via taxi, a good drop-off/meet point is by the Hospital (Ospedale) which is only a few minutes' walk from the apartment). It is also an excellent location for Sorrento train station (approx 10 minute walk); Piazza Tasso (approx 5 min walk); and the stunning Marina Grande and Porta Marina (approx 10 min walk). Claudio and Maria Teresa put in a huge amount of effort to make their guests feel welcome, and they should take pride in what they do. Fantastic location, right in the centre of the main street, yet in the apartment it was so quiet. The hosts were so kind and friendly. They met us at the entrance and explained everthing we needed to know. They were even kind enough to leave us lots of treats to get us started, shower gel, hand soap,beer, water, coffee, jams and breatfast snacks. Super clean apartment, looked like it was brand new, and more than enough room for 2. Air conditioning was a blessing and you had 2 seperate units, one in the lliving area and one in the bedroom, so you could control where you needed it most. Great shower with fantastic water pressure, 2 balconies with washing line and a washing machine. The list goes on, this was such a lovely place. When we return to Sorrento we will not bother to look anywhere else we would stay here again most definately.

Received a warm welcome from the lovely hosts of this centrally located apartment. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with some added extras- laundry detergent, breakfast items and even beers in the fridge all greatly appreciated.
