I recommend Zwinger Apartment to all those wanting to explore Sopron and the nearby cities. (We even drove to Vienna from Sopron.) The location is great. The host is very warm ang hospitable. The apartment will make you feel at home. For parking, when paying in card, its better to park to a nearby private parking facility. Cheaper and spacious and just right across the street.

I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of the Zwinger Apartment in Sopron—it truly has the wow factor. Immaculately clean, wonderfully comfortable, and exceptionally tastefully designed, it feels like a home away from home. From the cosy bed to the pristine shower and bath, the washing machine, and the well-equipped kitchen, everything has been thoughtfully considered. The attention to detail throughout makes it something truly special. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Sopron, yet remarkably peaceful. Listening to the Fire Tower’s music in the quiet of the evening adds such a magical touch. It’s a joy to be in Hungary’s “most loyal town”—Civitas Fidelissima—and I can honestly say I’ll remain loyal to this beautiful apartment. I’ll definitely be returning. Communication with the host was flawless—such lovely people who made everything feel just perfect. Very highly recommended!

The bed is very comfortable and the living room is a great place to chill out. Right in the middle of the old town. Very good cake shops and ice cream nearby.

The location is superb. The appartment is absolutely brilliant! The host is super helpful, the accommodation is amazing, there were boardgames, coffee and tea as well. We will be back to this place for sure! Thanx a lot
